Found this article posted at TG Guide I thought you guys would be interested in reading:
For those who care about such things and notice what the porn community is doing and responding to, people like myself – the pre-op M2F – are the current Flavor of the Month. The so-called “Shemale” is the focus of thousands of relatively new porn sites. Nearly from its inception, there has always been a thriving porn business in America that specialized in presenting the exotic and forbidden. There were always magazines and books devoted to showing black people and there were always magazines for showing the very young, and there were always outlets devoted to showing us Asians and bestiality and… well, you get the idea.
Why are there suddenly so many sex sites devoted to showing M2F transsexualism? I suspect the answer is not so much that we are exotic and mysterious as it is that we are seen as safe and relatively normal. Until recently Western society, and North American society in particular, still threw up tremendous roadblocks in the way of any bio-male wishing to express simple, honest affection toward another male. Growing up in a little red-necked town full of John Wayne clones, the general perception was that those Europeans were all a bunch of fags because the guys sometimes hug each other. The degree of homophobia was incredible. Any male who expressed an interest in anything feminine or sissified was immediately tagged as a potential homo.
And yet every male has the potential to be warm and loving toward another male, we all have the desire to show what’s in our hearts and if we only had the courage to break through the social taboos we would do so. But the stigma of queerness is too much for many males and so they live a lifetime of artificial maleness, suppressing their natural desires in order to meet society’s expectations. For some males, the early prohibitions against anything that might be seen as homosexual behavior and the horror of being tainted with the disgusting stench of femaleness are just too strong.
We have all marveled that heterosexual biological femmes fall into lesbian encounters with absolutely no shame or guilt and are utterly capable of being warm and loving to another female in a way that heterosexual males cannot be with another male. Why should it be so different? It is different simply because of the way we bring up young males to revile any hint of homosexuality. And of course, this sort of training doesn’t work because it is so horribly unnatural. Males grow up with their sexual curiosity about other males left unsatisfied. And that curiosity is there and there can’t be any doubt about that. Every man has had sexual fantasies about other males. Every male has had the desire to play the sub role and go down on another male.
WE ARE THE BRIDGE between femaleness and maleness for such males. With us, they can indulge their natural impulse to be loving toward another male without being judged queer. When your date looks like a woman and smells like a woman and walks like a woman and talks like a woman and wears a dress like a woman and wears lipstick like a woman…. then it’s okay to perform fellatio on her. There’s no horrible feeling of wrongness because you can see her as a woman and that makes everything alright.
I used to go to a lot of chat rooms for transsexuals and there would always be males there who would strenuously deny that they were gay or abnormal in anyway except for this fascination with transsexuals. Since I used a highly provocative screen name, I was a target. They homed in on that name. I sometimes handled 10 or 12 Instant Message boxes at a time. In one six-month period, I talked to perhaps 300 such males. Almost invariably one of the very first questions would be: “Can you pass?” They wanted to spend time with someone who would not mark them as homosexuals for dating us. And almost invariably, their greatest desire was not to penetrate but to be penetrated. Of the 300 or so males I talked to in those chat rooms during that one six-month period, I would guess that 290 were primarily interested in performing fellatio.
Sexual exploration is a natural and normal part of growing up and in a society where we demand that our young people do the impossible –suppress the strongest sexual urges they will ever experience in this lifetime– for several years, the frustration of this urge leads to sexual frustration, misery and the burgeoning of a porn industry devoted to giving males glimpses of what they are forbidden to have in reality: the warmth and affection of their peer group.
Under such insane circumstances, it is hardly surprising that our society is so screwed up. What’s surprising is that it continues to lurch along at all. But we pay a high price for the way we treat young people and the way we restrict our natural sexual urges. That price can be seen in the rape statistics, the insane corporate culture we’ve created, the strange inability to experience compassion by so many of our citizens, the weird perception of freedom as something scary and intolerable.
But mainly we pay the price in simple human misery. The vast majority of our citizens skulk about the world looking for ways to express their natural sexual urges and finding no way that society will approve. Nearly all these people are unhappy and most of them are miserable.
And so they search for an outlet for their drives. And there we are. We are the acceptable sex objects for their homosexual longings because we wear dresses and lipstick. So long as society continues to place straight jackets on our sexual behavior toward others of the same gender, there will always be a large percentage of the population, mostly male but with a lot of females also, that finds the need to indulge its desires in acceptable ways. And we are the sex objects of choice for the moment, not because we are exotic or strange but because we are seen, in a very strange way, as being closer to the norm than true homosexuality.

This weekend Seanchai and I drove to San Francisco this weekend and we had a great time. We met some old friends from Hawaii that had moved to the mainland a couple of years back. We were able to go to some of our favorite restaurants and we even made it to Divas on Saturday night.
Now that I am living in LA I am looking forward to the road trips I can take. This weekend was a warm up trip to the potential longer trips we will take now that I am here. We drove up north. We made an overnight stop in Monterey. We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Cannery Row. It is a nice hotel and if you walk in on a slow night you can get it for 20% less than the web
rate. It is a well located hotel with big rooms for the price, however it has paper thin walls so be prepared to hear most that goes on in the room next to you.
We went out for an evening and we were both in the mood for sea food and then a cigar. We found a few seafood restaurants on the web and it seemed like most bars had an outdoor smoking area. There is a great Cigar shop on Alvarado close to the Mucky Duck Bar.
The restaurant we originally wanted to go to was a brew pub it was closing as we got there at 7:45pm due to a computer failure. I guess the bar couldn’t figure out to take cash. So we went to another place recommended by trip adviser “The Fisherman’s Grotto”. It was on the pier and it had a great wine special. All wines were 50% off that was great. The menu looked like good American seafood fare set in a family restaurant on the Pier. The staff was good and helpful. I get great Seafood in Hawaii so maybe I am spoiled, however I never expect to go to a seafood restaurant next to pier and get frozen seafood. I had Abalone and it was frozen or maybe artificial, and breaded to cover the flavor. Maybe it was a seasonal thing but it was disappointing.
After dinner we walked back to the town and found a British pub with an outside area. We sat out back and had a cigar. We tend to attract caricatures and this night was no exception. In walks a 72 year old guy with his daughter. They were in Monterey for a nut farmers conference. They were great fun and we had a blast telling stories. Kelii our waiter from Maui was fun as well.
The bar made the trip fun

I couldn’t believe how bad Halloween in Waikiki was. I assumed that the triple threat of Saturday, full moon, and bad economy we might some really creative costumes here. I walked the length of Waikiki from Kapiolani park to Lewers St. and I didn’t see anything worth shooting. It looked like everyone bought costumes and didn’t bother to embellish them at all.
I used to be able to hang out around the gay clubs and get some wild photo of TS’ and cross dressers. Not this year. I only shot about 5 photos all night and I shot all of them because people wouldn’t stop pestering me until I took the photo.
The one photo I will post here has no transsexuals but it has a hot chick.

I posted a couple of stories about the plight of Vietnamese Transsexuals today on my forum. Both news stories are an interesting look into how far the Vietnamese government have come since it’s communist revolution. It shows photos of performers and locations which they are still able to perform.
Some local governments has stopped the shows, however they remain popular where they are allowed.

I am staying at an apartment on the bottom of Copacabana beach. Others are staying at the top of the beach. This affords me the ability of walking the 3 miles of Copacabana a couple of times a day. It is a beautiful stretch of beach. The city has done a lot of improvement on the beach. They have replaced most of the cabanas that sell drinks on the beach for open air restaurants and cafes. I think they are a lot more visually striking, however they are substantially more expensive. I also think think they are not as quaint. When I go to relax and smoke a cigar I still go to one of the few cabanas.

WASHINGTON (AFP) -
The United States ranks 28th in the world in average Internet connection speed and is not making
significant progress in building a faster network, according to a report released on Tuesday.
The report by the Communications Workers of America (CWA) said the average download speed in South
Korea is 20.4 megabits per second (mbps) — four times faster than the US average of 5.1 mbps.
Japan trails South Korea with an average of 15.8 mbps followed by Sweden at 12.8 mbps and the
Netherlands at 11.0 mbps, the report said.
It said tests conducted by speedmatters.org found the average US download speed had improved by only
nine-tenths of a megabit per second between 2008 and 2009 — from 4.2 mbps to 5.1 mbps.
“The US has not made significant improvement in the speeds at which residents connect to the
Internet,” the report said. “Our nation continues to fall far behind other countries.”
“People in Japan can upload a high-definition video in 12 minutes, compared to a grueling 2.5 hours
at the US average upload speed,” the report said.
It said 18 percent of those who took a US speed test recorded download speeds that were slower than
768 kilobits per second, which does not even qualify as basic broadband, according to the Federal
Communications Commission.
Sixty-four percent connected at up to 10 mbps, 19 percent connected at speeds greater than 10 mbps
and two percent exceeded 25 mbps.
The United States was ranked 20th in broadband penetration in a survey of 58 countries released
earlier this year by Boston-based Strategy Analytics.
South Korea, Singapore, the Netherlands, Denmark and Taiwan were the top five countries listed in
terms of access to high-speed Internet.
US President Barack Obama has pledged to put broadband in every home and the FCC has embarked on an
ambitious project to bring high-speed Internet access to every corner of the United States.
According to the CWA report, the fastest download speeds in the United States are in the
northeastern parts of the country while the slowest are in states such as Alaska, Idaho, Montana and
Wyoming.

BERLIN (AP)—Facing questions about her gender, South African teenager Caster Semenya easily won the 800-meter gold medal Wednesday at the world championships.
Her dominating run came on the same day track and field’s ruling body said she was undergoing a gender test because of concerns she does not meet requirements to compete as a woman.
Semenya took the lead at the halfway mark and opened a commanding lead in the last 400 meters to win by a massive 2.45 seconds in a world-leading 1 minute, 55.45 seconds. Defending champion Janeth Jepkosgei was second and Jennifer Meadows of Britain was third in 1:57.93.
After crossing the line, Semenya dusted her shoulders with her hands. Semenya did not speak to reporters after the race or attend a news conference.

About three weeks ago, the international federation asked South African track and field authorities to conduct the verification test. Semenya had burst onto the scene by posting a world-leading time of 1:56.72 at the African junior championships in Maruitius.
Her dramatic improvement in times, muscular build and deep voice sparked speculation about her gender. Ideally, any dispute surrounding an athlete is dealt with before a major competition. But Semenya’s stunning rise from unknown teenage runner to the favorite in the 800 happened almost overnight. That meant the gender test—which takes several weeks—could not be completed in time.
Before the race, IAAF spokesman Nick Davies stressed this is a “medical issue, not an issue of cheating.” He said the “extremely complex” testing has begun. The process requires a physical medical evaluation and includes reports from a gynecologist, endocrinologist, psychologist, internal medicine specialist and gender expert.
South Africa team manager Phiwe Mlangeni-Tsholetsane would not confirm or deny that Semenya was having such a test.
“We entered Caster as a woman and we want to keep it that way,” Mlangeni-Tsholetsane said. “Our conscience is clear in terms of Caster. We have no reservations at all about that.”
Although medals will be awarded for the 800, the race remains under a cloud until the investigation is closed, and Semenya could be stripped of the gold depending on the test results, IAAF general secretary Pierre Weiss said.
“But today there is no proof and the benefit of doubt must always be in favor of the athlete,” Weiss said.
Semenya’s rivals said they tried not to dwell on the issue before the race.
“I’ve heard a lot of speculation, but all I could do was just keep a level head and go about my business,” Meadows said. “If none of it’s true, I feel very sorry for her.”
One thing not in doubt was Semenya’s outstanding run.
“Nobody else in the world can do that sort of time at the moment,” Meadows said. “She obviously took the race by storm.”

Yesterday was a very strange Saturday. First I had a hardcore scheduled, after confirming the night before a few times the first model Natty didn’t show. That leaves me screwed because the second model Benz is early and ready to go. I wasn’t able to find a replacement so I shot a solo of Benz instead. I very rarely have a no-show in Thailand. Natty must be a rich girl or had a better offer from another company.
Finished that shoot and out for dinner at the Queen Victoria on Soi 23. The city is quiet, even the taxis are few and far between. I know it is the start of the English Premier League and Chelsea are playing, but even the sports bars are empty. Sure enough, we watch the 2 goal scored by Chelsea against Hull in the third minute of stoppage time. Not more that 30 minutes later people start trickling in.
By time I got to Nana at 10:00pm it was starting to pick up. I left at 12 and it was packed. Obsession was standing room only. In Cascade I was in the back cheap seats, Casanova even had a few customers. I didn’t make it to Carnival or Temptation as I had scheduled the next day already. I did go to the Guess Bar to see if the lovely Eye was working. She wasn’t, but a bevy of cuties were there and playing pool. When I asked if Eye was working they said no. I started talking to a few them and about 20 minutes Eye walked in. They had called her and told her a customer was there, so she came down. I am going back again to get some of the Guess girls in front of my lens. They know how to be horny there.

Afghan judo coach loses to ladyboy
BANGKOK: – “The coach of the Afghan judo squad attending the Asian Martial Arts Games in the Thai capital was robbed of hundreds of thousands of baht after falling for a ladyboy he met in the notorious Nana Plaza adult entertainment complex.
Assaladee Sakala, 43, told police he and his team checked into the Grand Ayudhaya Hotel Bangkok in the Ratchada area and went looking for some female company.
He said he made some new ‘female’ friends and took one of them back to his hotel room.
He poured two beers and left the room briefly to talk to a team mate.
When he returned, Mr Sakala and his ‘girlfriend’ drank the beer at which point he started to feel sleepy.
The next thing he knew, it was 2pm the following day and his companion had vanished, along with all his valuables.
Mr Sakala told police the ‘woman’ had stolen $US5,000 and 1,500 euros in cash, a gold ring, a gold wrist watch, a digital camera, and a digital voice recorder worth a combined total of more than 300,000 baht.
Metropolitan Police Commander Lt Gen Saroj Phromcharoen said the thief had been identified as 21-year-old ladyboy, Phongphichit Prasertsuk.
Mr Sakala said he had no idea his ‘lady friend’ was actually a man.
Police believe Mr Phong-phichit slipped tranquillizers into Mr Sakala’s beer before stealing his valuables.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Mr Phongphichit.
Mr Sakala was the second high-profile foreign victim to be drugged and robbed by a ladyboy in less than a month.
Last month, a Lieutenant Commander from the Australian navy reportedly lost a laptop belonging to the Department of Defence after being drugged and robbed by a ladyboy he met in Nana Plaza.
It is not known what steps the Australian government has taken to stop the security breach from resulting in a ‘Down Under’ invasion by Thai ladyboys.
On a personal note, someone must know who this girl is – can you find out in Nana and see if we have her on the site? I wonder what’s going to happen to this guy when he gets back to Afghanistan!
The Thai police seem to spend more time releasing the details of these crimes to the press, than actually doing anything about the crime.

A Map of the Ladyboy Bars in Nana Plaza
Their is a new LB bar in Nana Plaza. It is called Carnival. This used to be a GG place for many
years. Their claim to fame was the Mechanical Bull ride. I remember a friend and I went in there a
year or so ago when it was a GG gogo. We were the only ones there. The girls weren’t attractive and
the music was Thai Pop. Fast forward to this trip, I went in there alone and again I was the only
one in there and the music was Tha1 Pop. Their were a few faces I know and have photographed and a
few I wouldn’t their were a couple of stunners. I will go back. Their was one problem though. The
old Mama-san from Cascades it there. She will dominate the night if given a chance.
I started the night as Cascade. It is still chocked full of LB’s many I have photographed before.
There are always fresh faces and I was told by Patty that there are many new girls but they took
Monday off or were barfined. I guess the ex-pats like the fresh meat. Their is a new mama-san and I
am happy to report that she leaves me alone. I am not sure if the 2nd mama-san from before got
promoted or they brought in a new one their were two there.
Then to Casanova. I’m used to being the only one here. I miss Jessica from there. She has retired.
Their were a host of beauties most of which you have seen on my pages.
Obsession Bar. This place is always full of girls. It could be that it is a small stage so it
always looks packed. I didn’t see a lot of new girls last night I hope that changes tonight.
I have some pre-season transfer news. Q is at Obsession bar, Little Bam went from Casanova to
Obsession bar. Benz went from Obsession to Cascade bar. The transfer fees and reasons have not been
made available to this reporter at this time. I will update you with more news as I receive it.
I didn’t forget about Temptation Bar. I love the place and the owner is a mate. He has a girl in there that I despise. She is a drugged out wacko who makes threats so I will not go in.
